Temporary Rules during Covid-19 Pandemic

GREEN:  There will be 3 alternate rinks open to enable 2m social distancing

Equipment sheds to remain locked.

You should only play either with members of your own household, or with one other person or on your own.  No markers for singles games.  No spectators allowed.

Two mats and two jacks of different colours to be used on each rink, a different colour jack for each player and you should only place your own colour

Equipment to be sanitised by players before and after a game using the antibacterial sanitiser as provided.

Just adjust the jack by foot and only handle your own bowls.

Do not use pushers, measures, chalk, two-metre distance sticks, jack in ditch markers or scoreboards.

CLUBHOUSE:  The main club house area will be closed and out of bounds at the moment. This includes the toilets.  Obviously as the bar and kitchen will be closed members should bring their own refreshments and take any rubbish home with them for disposal.

If you have bowls, shoes or anything else in a locker, please collect before 1ST June as thereafter the changing rooms are off limits.  You should arrive ready to play and change shoes on the benches outside.

GENERAL:  There will be a booking rota available by the front door located on the notice board on the left.  You can book a slot of an hour up to two weeks in advance.  The first available slot will be 12 noon on weekdays and 10am at the weekends.  The last available slots will finish at 7pm on all days.   Do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your allotted time and leave immediately after you finish playing and have cleaned the mats and jacks.

If you are scoring your game, you will need to bring your own paper pen or pencil.

Please bring personal sanitising wipes and hand sanitizer.

After end of day’s play mats and jacks to be placed just inside the wire trolley by the steps.

Please ensure the gates are closed if you are the last to leave.

The above conditions will be kept under review to keep in line with Government directives and easing of lockdown.

SOCIAL DISTANCING SHOULD BE OBSERVED AT ALL TIMES – 2 METRES APART FROM ANYONE OUTSIDE YOUR OWN HOUSEHOLD.
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THIS IS OBSERVED.
