We started to remove the hedge that adjoins the football club storage area in November 2025. The first phase was to take down as much of the hedge on the football club side to create space for the new fence to be erected, which is expected to begin sometime during December 2025. The next phase is planned for Tuesday, the 16th of December which will be the removal of the small metal fence that was previously situated in the centre of the hedge and would have formed the original boundary. Materials for building the fence are being ordered now and it is hoped we will begin erecting the new fence in the next couple of weeks. Thanks to everybody who has turned up to assist with this work so far particularly the four days of hedge shredding which proved to be quite a big task. Also thanks to all those who have volunteered future assistance as there are many days of work still required to get the job done.
