Marsh Cup 2024
Winner: Peter Almond Runner-Up: Ken Pymm
The Marsh Cup was held on Saturday 22nd July. 18 players took part, split into two groups of 8 and 10. Each player played 3 games of 8 ends within their group, scoring 10 points for a win, 5 for a draw and 1 point for each end won. After 3 games each, Ken Pymm topped the group of 8 with 49 points and Pete Almond topped the group of 10, with 47 points, having both won all 3 of their games.
It was mutually decided between Ken & Pete to hold the final, straight afterwards rather than leave it until the Finals Weekend. Pete eventually took the trophy after 7 ends.
A great day was had by all and thanks go to everyone who took part and to Steve & Judy Kirk for organising and running the event.
